Suvi Atall was a ten-year-old native of Amargosa who became one of the youngest survivors during the events of The Children of Amargosa. Separated during the evacuation, he was taken in by Cadet Eric Yuwono and traveled with Yuwono and Davra Andraste across the increasingly dangerous outskirts of Lansdorp. Despite his youth, Suvi remained calm and cooperative throughout the ordeal.
He and the others—Yuwono, Davra, Ellie Nardino, and Connor Duffy—eventually boarded a hover tram intended to take them to safety. The tram came under attack as Lansdorp’s final destruction approached, but was not destroyed. When the group discovered that the maglev system was still operational, they abandoned the tram and continued their escape.
Suvi died shortly thereafter during the final moments before the fusion bombing of Lansdorp. His death was sudden and tragic, a stark illustration of the merciless toll the invasion took on civilians—especially its youngest.
