The OA-22 Falcon is a high-capacity, two-deck assault shuttle utilized by the Compact Navy and Colonial Guard for rapid deployment in high-risk operations. Designed for both atmospheric and low-orbit operations, it is a favorite for paratrooper drops, orbital skydive assaults, and extraction missions. Its durability, speed, and specialized troop deployment features make it a staple among elite military units.

Design Features:

  • Two decks:
    • Upper deck houses pilot controls, co-pilot station, mission operations console, a passenger compartment. Some units also have an infirmary.
  • Drop cradle system:
    • Specialized rig in the lower deck allows rapid deployment of soldiers via orbital skydive, paratrooper insertion, or fast-roping.
    • Adjustable dampeners protect jumpers in high-G maneuvers.
  • Armament and defense:
    • Configurable hardpoints for pulse cannons, shock rockets, or missile pods.
    • EMP-hardened systems and passive stealth plating available on elite variants.
    • Chafe counter measures to make the ship hard to hit. Can also be used offensively to blind a hostile contact.

Notable Units:

  • Dunkirk:
JT Austin‘s original Falcon, Dunkirk, is used extensively in operations during and after the occupation of Amargosa. It sees heavy action and becomes synonymous with daring extractions and skydrops under fire. Known for its battered but reliable structure, Dunkirk serves as a symbol of resistance perseverance.
