It would have been better with real Samurai. I remember thinking that this was just OK, as a media-marinated couch potato middle school goof-off. The issues around attaching the severed but working body parts of your enemies to your own body has potential for some other genres,
I really don’t know why they rejected my Harlequin Series Romance draft with this very idea. The foot fetish niche (or genre, really) is wide open for quality literature.
I think I needed to add an agnsty teen vampire.
